Shohei Ohtani has done it again! The global superstar baseball player hits one out of the yard, almost into the ocean in yet another massive home run. Ohtani hit the homer at the May 14 Dodgers game in the home field of top rival San Francisco Giants. The Japanese superstar now has the longest home run at Oracle Park in two years, a jaw-dropping 446 feet. At over 113 mph, the crushing hit is Ohtani’s 12th home run of the 2024 Dodger Season.
“He crushes it. It’s ridiculous. It’s really ridiculous to watch how hard he hits the ball,” raved sportscaster and Cy Young award-winning Dodgers pitcher Orel Hershiser in the live broadcast as fans and fellow teammates in the dugout jump for joy seeing Ohtani destroying another ball.
The Dodgers “see a lot of home runs. They just don’t see it like this very often. He’s one of those guys that even the professionals would buy a ticket to watch him play.” High praise indeed from a fellow Dodger great who recognizes the greatness in Ohtani.
